About Watchers of Eldria

Watchers of Eldria is a turn-based strategy roguelike where you take on the role of a Watcher, one of the last protectors of a forest plagued by corruption. As you venture deeper, you’ll face more challenging enemies and tougher choices, but you’ll also find powerful upgrades that can turn the tide. No two runs are the same, and every decision you make matters.

Key Features

• Tactical Turn-Based Combat: Every encounter counts. You’ll need to think ahead and adapt to enemies with different attack patterns and strategies.
• Augment System: As you progress, you’ll pick up augments that make you stronger—but they come with a catch. These augments can have drawbacks, so every choice feels impactful.
• Explore the Corrupted Forest: Each run takes you through different parts of Eldria, with randomized levels, enemies, and rewards. You'll never have the same experience twice.
• Weapons & Abilities: Discover weapons and abilities that you can combine in countless ways to make every build feel fresh and unique.
• Boss Battles: Face off against corrupted creatures guarding the forest’s secrets. Each boss has its own set of challenges, and they won’t make things easy for you.

Current State of Development

Alright, so here's the deal—Watchers of Eldria is still in development. A lot of the game is up and running, but you’re going to notice a few rough edges here and there. You might see:

• Placeholder visuals, sounds, and UI
• Menus that are still a bit of a work-in-progress
• Bugs or things that just don’t feel quite right yet

I'm actively working on improving all of this, but I wanted to share the game with you now to start getting feedback. Your input is going to be crucial in shaping where this project goes from here.

How to Play

1. Start your journey as a Watcher and explore the forest of Eldria.
2. Choose your path wisely—each level offers different challenges and rewards.
3. Find augments, weapons, and abilities to make your Watcher stronger.
4. Face off against enemies and bosses that want nothing more than to see you fail.
5. Adapt your strategy on the fly—every move you make matters!
